Graham Conservation is a small firm providing preventive conservation services to the museum and heritage sector.

Fiona Graham is a professional conservator specializing in preventive conservation. As a consultant, she provides expert advice to museums, galleries, archives and libraries in the areas of planning, renovations and new builds, environmental guidelines, storage design, and other aspects of preventive conservation. Through her work, institutions are able to provide long-term sustainable access to their collections. Her plans succeed because she tailors them to the needs of the particular institution, its collection, its building(s), its budget and its staff. Fiona is an exceptional communicator.

Fiona educates others in practical and responsible preservation approaches by teaching at the university level (Queen’s University’s Master’s of Art Conservation Program and Athabasca University’s Heritage Resource Management Program) and in the form of professional development workshops for community museum workers. She is accredited by the Canadian Association of Professional Conservators (CAPC) and by the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals (CAHP).

When required, Graham Conservation works with associates in related disciplines such as architecture and engineering. We are based in Kingston, OntarIo but take on projects across the country.
